Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you allow caravans or motorhomes? We allow VW style/size campervans, but no caravans or motorhomes. We do not have electrical hook-ups or chemical waste disposal.

-
Can we park next to our pitch? Due to the ample size of our pitches, we allow parking next to your pitch for your convenience. Please be very careful driving around the site and do not exceed the 10mph speed limit at any time.

-
Do you allow dogs on site? We are dog friendly, but please keep your dog on a lead whilst on site - we have nearby lakes with geese & ducks, as well as fields of Alpaca that we need to keep safe. Please let us know when booking if you intend to bring your four legged friend.

-
Do you allow camp fires? Yes! Every pitch has its own fire pit, and the Campsite Manager will visit every pitch each evening around 5/6pm to sell local firewood and kindling, kiln dried to the latest strict Government moisture levels. If you need wood out of hours then please contact the Campsite Manager directly by phone (07801109243) and hopefully we can arrange a wood drop off for you. Please only use the firepits provided and do not bring your own firewood as 1. We can not be certain that the wood complies to UK moisture laws, 2. Wood often contains screws and nails that are left in the fire and can cause harm to wildlife and campers alike, and 3. We need to protect the surrounding woodland from diseases such as Ash Die Back, Dutch Elm disease, and cannot risk burning diseased wood whose spores will infect surrounding tress when burnt.

-
Can we have a BBQ? Off ground BBQ's are welcomed, but please avoid using disposable bbq's as they burn the grass, as well as being bad for the environment.
